Did you know that lemon juice can literally eat a hole in your countertop if left there for hours? I unfortunately know this now. With a perfectly smooth and shiny white finish, the discolored area stands out like a sore thumb, and it’s all because I left a spoon there after a busy day cooking. Huge mistake!
Now I know a spoon rest isn’t a new invention, but it is just plain useful and effective. I love this one because it has divisions in it for multiple spoons so they don’t get the flavors mixed. It also has a nice lip around the edge so no sauces spill off onto the counter. Having two of these works perfectly so I can simply throw one in the dishwasher while using the other. Such a simple and inexpensive product, yet so necessary for every kitchen!
